Callie had an Hawaian party for her last party in Preschool. I was so sad and can not believe Preschool is over. Callie has had a wonderful year thanks to her incredible teachers! We are so blessed to have them in our lives!

Going Away Party
We went to the Caravella's going away party last weekend. It was nice to see everyone. We are so sad to see Daph and everyone leave! Daph was so sweet to me when I stayed home with Callie. She got me out and involved and introduced we to a great group of ladies! I get so sad when I think about them moving. We are looking very forward to some trips to Colorado! We are going to miss them so much!

Piece of history
Yesterday Callie and I went to paint her square for her gymnastics school. They will be opening a new building in June and one wall will be filled with squares the kids make. She had so much fun. There is no bow in her hair because we had just left practice and they can not wear bows there. She loves nastics and has the best caoch ever! We love how much she has learned!

Mother's Day
We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. On Saturday we went to Rosa's and Callie and I went and got pedicures. On Sunday we spent the morning at church. We ate at home and tried to spend some time relaxing. What Chris and I forget is that Carsyn is not like Callie. She is not real big at relaxing or letting us relax. All in all we had a great time. I took these pictures at church. Chris took one of the girls for me before we left home. Can you tell that I need a new camera? The black spot is not going away! I have been dropping lots of hints for a new one so we will see in month or so. I love the dress that Callie had on. The reason I love it so much is that my mom made it for me when I was Callie's age. I love that she can wear it! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful mother and mother in law to help show me what to do. They are great examples of how to raise your children. As Lisa Young said today at church the most important thing we can give our children is the gift of knowing God. Thank you to all the "mom's" in my life for helping me be the person I am today!

Dentist
I had the day off yesterday so I took Callie to her dentist appointment. Callie had to have two fillings at her last appointment so she was scared to go. Through lots of talking she did make it. She cried when they turned on the toothbrush because she thought it was the drill. She got over it though and did very well. We have been working so hard on her teeth. No candy, flouride every night and flossing. We were so sad to learn that she has two more cavaities. They are minior and were there before not as bad. So really were are doing better and the doctor says that it is nothing we are doing wrong. So Tuesday she has to go back to get her boo boo's fixed. More poor baby! I feel terrible about it!!!
Muffins with Mom
Today was Muffins with Mom at Callie's school. Since Callie is not a morning person at all it is always interesting to see how she will be. Her teachers do such a wonderful job of working with the kids to make it so special. Last year Callie wrote that her favorite thing mom cooked was........ pizza she orders it! Yes I felt like Mother of the Year. This year she was much kinder in her responses. I like to do art with her and I have brown hair and brown eyes.
Sweet little girl! What a gift from God she is!!!

Paw
There are so many wonderful things we could say about our Paw! He can put a smile on anyone's face and can bring joy to any situation. He is a strong man of faith and lives his life with God at the center of all he does. He makes the girls laugh and smile and clear their plates if needed. He is always doing for his family no matter what. Last Friday he had to have some work done on his heart. Chris was able to be there which made us all feel better! We had all been praying for him and it turned out well. I am always on Chris about exercising and eating well. He and I both know that we have to take care of ourselevs for our family! Paw, we love you!
Our Night Out
Chris and I rarely take a night to go out. A really sweet friend of mine had a birthday party Saturday night and I really wanted to go. So we got a sitter and headed out. We had a wonderful time even though Chris was exhausted from being gone for almost 2 weeks. While I was getting ready I thought daddy had the kids. I had them all bathed and dressed for bed. Well this is what happens when you have Carsyn as a child and you are trying to get dressed to get out the door. I have to add that Callie was not an innocent party in this!
As you can tell Carsyn is loving this! Just so you know I had to change her clothes 3 times before we left that night because they continued to go out and do it.
The only one in our family!
Yesterday Callie asked if we wanted to see her new trick. Like all good parents do we told her yes and half way shifted our attention her way. We were both amazed when she was able to hula hoop by herself. Today she did it some more and even walked across the floor while doing it! Wow, she is getting so big so quickly!
